Lysningen – Overlund School will be built in a modern style with a focus on school, culture and sports facilities.
The building will have 4 floors with an open area in the middle – a clearing – with a large staircase and access to the different levels.
It’s a sustainable building with wooden interiors and elements that bring nature inside.
UnikFunkis has been chosen as a window supplier of the product type Wood/aluminum EnergyPlus, Energy class A.
The school contains regular classrooms as well as specialist rooms, workshops, after-school programs, canteen and more.
The school is expected to open in summer 2024.
Arkitema is the overall consultant, COWI is responsible for the construction management, and TBS A/S Skive is carrying out the closure contract.
